What began as a chance encounter in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District became an extraordinary journey of discovery.

For nearly two years, I followed the lives of a family of Peregrine Falcons that made the city's skyscrapers their home.

I witnessed their hunts, courtship, the arrival of new life, and the challenges of raising young in an urban environment. There were moments of excitement, wonder, heartbreak and unexpected discoveries.

Project: Ernesti brings together these observations, photographs and personal reflections in a photographic journal. More than a collection of images, it is a story of life unfolding above a city where thousands of people pass beneath, often unaware of what is happening overhead.
